The first day of BlizzCon 2021 – or better said BlizzConline – featured a big surprise for old-school Diablo fans. Blizzard will be delivering Diablo 2 Resurrected later this year with enhanced visuals and some quality-of-life multiplayer improvements. In a decent offer, you can get Diablo 2 Resurrected and Diablo 3 + all expansions in the Diablo Prime Evil Collection.
Revealed during yesterday’s online stream, the Diablo Prime Evil Collection will cost you $59.99 which sounds fair for a remaster and a title from nine years ago with its full post-launch expansions. If you want to only get Diablo 2 Resurrected you will be charged $39.99. So, you are going to get Diablo 3 and its DLCs for $20 in the offered bundle.
Diablo 2 Resurrected is supposed to bring the same old experience with some minor improvements that make the game easier to run and much more accessible. According to the developers, the Resurrected version will feature fully 3D visuals and support 4K resolutions. All the cinematics are being remade for the upcoming version of the game. The core gameplay elements and multiplayer features such as Trading will remain unchanged. That said, with the game’s arrival on global servers, players will benefit from high-speed matchmaking and cross progression.
