Today Koei Tecmo and DMM rolled out an update for their PC game Dead or Alive Xtreme: Venus Vacation.

The update numbered 01.14.00 comes with a brand new 30 FPS mode which drops the minimum system requirements to an Intel Core i5 3470 and a Radeon R7 260X 2GB. The FPS mode can be switched between 30 and 60 FPS in the setting menu of the launcher.

Another relevant new feature is a photo mode during beach volley matches. When you pause the game, you can access your camera and snap pictures of all the girls involved. Of course, there is also the usual bunch of bug fixes.

We also get the usual weekly event, titled “Hadaka no Kokoro” it’s a play on word that can mean both “Naked Kokoro” (and no, no one gets really naked in this game), and “Naked Heart“. Incidentally, even if I don’t know if this is intended, it’s also the title of an album by Misato Watanabe.

By playing the event matches, you can drop “Passion Heart” gifts that you can gift to the girl. When each girl’s “Hadaka Gauge” is full, you will receive her event SR swimsuit. There is also an overall Owner Mission that depends on the cumulative number of gifts you give to the girls. It will unlock a special event cutscene when filled.

Last, but not least, when receiving a gift, the girls will give back “White Day Coins” that can be used to purchase items at the event shop. Those will also be usable in the second part of the event which will come next week.

Incidentally, this event is inspired by White Day, a typically Japanese celebration in which men traditionally give back for the chocolate they received by their loved ones on Valentine’s Day. This is normally in the form of expensive gifts, obviously.

Incidentally, the event matches also grant a nice complement of free V Stones that you can spend on the week’s special gacha featuring a SSR bikini for Kokoro, giving you the chance to unlock her and her adorable Kansai dialect.

Below you can check out a video with the intro of the event, and a few official screenshots.

f you want to play the game on your own PC (it’s only in Japanese but it’s fairly easy to understand) you can learn how to in our handy guide.
