While the Nintendo Switch version may have been delayed, Dark Souls: Remastered will launch on PC, PS4, and Xbox One May 23. To celebrate its impending release, Bandai Namco Entertainment has released a launch trailer highlighting some of the game’s most memorable locations and moments.
For those of you who aren’t aware, Dark Souls: Remastered is a next-gen remaster of the most critically acclaimed and difficult RPGs of the past decade: Dark Souls. On PS4 Pro, Xbox One X, and PC, this remastered version features HDR and 4K support. If you are going to be playing on a regular PS4 or Xbox One, you will still experience 60fps at a 1080p resolution.
There have also been some changes to multiplayer to make it more fluid and accessible like Dark Souls III. A 3v3 deathmatch mode has also been added, and it features random respawn points and password-protected matchmaking.
You can check out the new launch trailer below. Dark Souls: Remastered will launch on PC, PS4, and Xbox One on May 25 before coming to Nintendo Switch later this Summer. It can currently be pre-ordered on Amazon.
