Today From Software and Bandai Namco announced that the Nintendo Switch version of Dark Souls Remastered will release in Japan on October 18th and in the west on October 19th.
On top of that, we learn that a Solaire of Astora amiibo will be released at the same time.
A network test will be conducted prior to release but we don’t yet know exactly the dates and details about it just yet.
Alongside the announcement we also get official information about the game’s performance and features compared with the PS3 version.
While on PS3 the game ran at 720p, 30 FPS, on Switch it will run at 1080p, 30 FPS docked, and 720p, 30 FPS undocked. It will support between one and six players online with dedicated servers, compared to up to four on peer-to-peer on PS3. Of course, all DLC will be included in the package from the start.
Below you can check out a gallery of screenshots and take a look at the amiibo.
Dark Souls Remastered is already available for PS4, Xbox One, and PC. You can pre-order the Nintendo Switch version on Amazon.
