Delayed release dates have become common-place in the gaming industry but every once in a while we get a unicorn: the pushed-up release date. And Activision looks like they are going to be the next one to offer that welcome news, as they are advancing the release date for Crash Bandicoot N. Sane Trilogy for all consoles.
According to a press release, Crash Bandicoot will now be releasing on June 29. For those who missed the initial announcement, that is nearly a two-week difference from the original July 10, 2018 launch date that was first announced. According to the blog post from Activision, the shift was due to the positive “fan reaction” to the game — so who knows what the real reason is.
Regardless of the PR-friendly language, it’s hard not to be excited for Crash’s original three games to come to all platforms. We recently got a look at the “Diggin’ It” level in a gameplay trailer, in case you want to remind yourself how nice the remastered version of the game looks.
As mentioned above, Crash Bandicoot N. Sane Trilogy will be coming to Nintendo Switch, PC, and Xbox One on June 29, 2018; the game is already available on PS4. If you haven’t already, make sure to pre-order the game on Amazon.
