Activision’s remastered title Crash Bandicoot N. Sane Trilogy will be getting a brand new level later this month, but there’s something else heading to the platforming title.
The brand new level that is arriving to Crash Bandicoot N. Sane Trilogy is Future Tense. This level is developed by Vicarious Visions and will add an extra layer of difficulty to Crash Bandicoot 3: Warped‘s future world. Rockets will need to be dodged, robots destroyed, and lasers avoided while Crash makes his way up a futuristic skyscraper.
This Future Tense level pays homage to an unreleased Waterfall level from the original Crash Bandicoot game. Players will see Crash and Coco being able to find hidden areas around the level as well as unexpected moments, such as a Death Route. Future Tense will be able to be accessed through a new platform in the Warp Room of the Crash Bandicoot 3: Warped area and can be played at any point regardless of game progression.
As well as Future Tense’s arrival to Crash Bandicoot: N.Sane Trilogy a bonus level known as Stormy Ascent will become available from launch on the 29th June for those getting the title on new platforms. However, those who already own the title on PS4 that was released last year can download this bonus level starting from tomorrow. It will be free and available from the PlayStation Store.
You can check out the launch trailer for Future Tense below. We already heard news would be teased for the title, and after it’s initial launch onto PS4 is made it at the number one spot in UK sales for four consecutive weeks and then returning to round that total up to six weeks at number one. The latest remaster from Activision is the upcoming Spyro Reignited Trilogy.
Crash Bandicoot: N.Sane Trilogy is due to arrive on Nintendo Switch, Xbox One, and PC on the 29th June, 2018 with pre-orders being available now. It is available on PS4 already.
