With the release of the N. Sane Trilogy a few years ago, Crash Bandicoot made his long-awaited return in the spotlight as players new and old could return to the platforming marsupial’s original three adventures in a remastered collection. Since then, Activision and Toys for Bob released Crash Bandicoot 4: It’s About Time this past October as a brand new entry in the series, and offered a bit of fun crossover with a certain other franchise on social media.
In a new video ad posted on the game’s Twitter, Crash Bandicoot 4 paid a bit of homage to the series’ original creator Naughty Dog with Crash and Coco playing Uncharted together. Of course, most will recognize this as a fun reference to Uncharted 4: A Thief’s End, which featured a memorable Easter egg where Nathan and Elena played the original Crash Bandicoot together.

You can also check out the original scene from Uncharted 4 to compare:
Of course, the Uncharted reference isn’t the only thing notable about the video, as towards the end you can also see a “Wumpa League” sign in the background that references Crash Team Racing. Last year developer Toys for Bob released Crash Team Racing Nitro Fueled, a remastered take on the PS1 classic kart racer that drew from the studio’s work on the N. Sane Trilogy. Whether or not Toys for Bob is signaling that they may have a CTR sequel in the works is up for debate, but the video itself is a fun bit of nostalgia for fans of the franchise.
Crash Bandicoot 4: It’s About Time is available now on PS4 and Xbox One.
