We’re getting closer and closer to the release of Season 4 Reloaded, but before then we’ve got a new playlist update for both Cold War and Warzone today (July 8).
The big mid-season update is rumoured to be releasing next week, with the release of the new zombie’s map ‘Mauer der Toten’, plus new content for Cold War Multiplayer and Warzone.
But with still one week to go until the possible release of Season 4 Reloaded, there’s still content to look forward to in the new playlist update. Thanks to the Call of Duty Weekly Briefing, we know exactly what to expect this week.

Call of Duty – Weekly Briefing (July 5 – 11)
To kick off the new Playlist Update, Cold War Multiplayer will receive a brand new Gunfight Tournament with exclusive in-game rewards if you’re good enough.
Some fan favourites will continue for another week, as Face Off 6v6 and 12v12 Moshpit will be staying put in Cold War Multiplayer. Also returning on July 8 in Cold War is Snipers Only Moshpit and Knife Fight 3v3.
Don’t forget that starting from July 9 at 10AM PT, Double Battle Pass XP will be live in both Cold War and Warzone. The double XP is set to last until July 12 at 10AM PT.

Cold War Playlist Update – Patch Notes
As of writing, the official patch notes for the Cold War Playlist Update on July 8 have not been released. Treyarch Studios usually release the notes after the update goes live at 10AM PT / 6PM BST. Check back in around then as we will be updating this article with the full notes and changes.
Warzone Playlist Update – Patch Notes
Unfortunately, the same goes for Warzone fans. The full patch notes should be made available shortly after the update goes live at the aforementioned times. Check back in later to find out what’s new in Warzone this week!
