Earlier this morning, Bandai Namco Entertainment announced the release dates for its Souls-like action-JRPG Code Vein. As part of the announcement, they revealed a rich Collector’s Edition first for Japan and then for Europe.
A couple of hours ago DualShockers received the related press release from Bandai Namco Entertainment America, but it made no mention of the Collector’s Edition. We reached out to the publisher to hear whether the edition won’t come at all, or it was just pending more information. Unfortunately, we just heard back that no Collector’s Edition is planned for North America.
The rich box that Japanese and European fans will be able to enjoy includes the original soundtrack, an artbook with info on the setting, and the centerpiece in the form of a figure representing AI companion Mia Karnstein.
If you want to see more about the game, you can enjoy the brand new trailer, the latest gallery of images, another recent trailer and another batch of screenshots.
Code Vein will launch in Japan on September 27th, followed one day later on September 28th for PS4, Xbox One, and PC. You can already pre-order it on Amazon.
