I have to say it. 2020 has absolutly sucked. I don’t think it could have gotten any worse and I am sure plenty of you out there reading this are in agreeance. However, there has been one fabulous thing to come out this year and that is a remaster of Tony Hawk’s Pro Skater 1 and 2. I am psyched out of my mind to relive the classics that jumpstarted the skateboarding frenzy of the late ’90s and early 2000s and this trailer for the Warehouse demo doesn’t help.
Over on the game’s YoutTube channel, we got a glimpse at the iconic warehouse level. The trailer is just about 30 seconds long and features our boy Tony getting some nasty airtime, hitting some grinds, and yes, blasting through the glass windows of the hanging freight container just above the halfpipe. You can check out the trailer below.
As you might have inferred, I am so excited to hop back into Tony Hawk’s Pro Skater 1 and 2. I played the absolute crap out of them on my Nintendo 64 but I haven’t returned in quite some time. There hasn’t been a great skateboarding game to release in quite some time so I am jazzed to get my hands on this when it releases next month and listen to that sweet soundtrack.
For those of you who are unaware, if you pre-order the game digitally, you will get access to the Warehouse demo on August 14 at 8 AM PT. However, if you would like to wait, the game will release later next month on September 4 for PC, PS4, and Xbox One.
