Nothing says happy Mother’s Day like a haunting track from God of War dedicated to Faye, the woman with enough balls to have a kid with known psychopath-murderer Kratos. I’m not sure if that’s girl power or poor self-preservation… but you go girl!
And go she did. To celebrate and honor both Atreus’ mother and mothers across the world, God of War developers have released a video of the haunting track from the OST, Memories of Mother, and the message, “She is always with us.”
The track, composed by Bear McCreary, is available to download for free here, while the full official soundtrack composed by Bear McCreary can be found on iTunes and the PlayStation Store, or listened to on Spotify. Memories of Mother is a truly beautiful piece worth a listen; feel free to check out the video below, and happy Mother’s Day to mothers both here with us and those who watch over us from beyond.
