If you’re still smashing through windows, lobbing grenades, or smashing someone in the face with a rifle in Call of Duty: Black Ops 4, then you can easily manage your profile with the new Call of Duty Companion App.

Available since yesterday, the Call of Duty Companion App allows players to organize their squad, keep loadouts, and look at their personalized recaps, and briefs. The user will also get gameplay tips directed to them based on their playing style.

There’s a video below that shows the various features available within the free iOS and Android app, and a recent blog post details them further.

A friends feed will allow the user to keep an eye on friends accomplishments and battle stats, and even allow the user to compare their achievements to their friends. You’ll also be able to see what your friend is playing as well as being able to form a squad with up to twenty other players.

Completing weekly objectives as a squad will result in in-game exclusive rewards and even real-world rewards from KontrolFreek. These objectives can range from getting a certain number of zombie kills, or winning a certain number of matches in a specific game mode.

The user can link their in-game profile to the Call of Duty Companion App and see personalized reports from matches in Blackout mode, Multiplayer mode, Zombies, and even Call of Duty: WWII‘s Multiplayer and War modes.

Players will receive weekly reports that compare the previous week’s statistics and will offer tips and ways to improve for the next match. Other statistics allow players to see their equipment, weapons, and loadouts stats as well as a look at how they performed in a match. This will also include heat maps that show movement and bullets from that match.

The Call of Duty Companion App will also inform you of any events taking place in-game, and what updates have been applied. Activision’s SVP of Consumer Engagement, Monte Lutz said:

“The release of the Call of Duty Companion App is part of our continued commitment to creating personalized services for players that enhances their gameplay and deepens their connection to the game, as well as other players,”

“We’re launching with compelling features that are tailor-made for the Call of Duty community, and we’ll continue to add new capabilities, including localization, a loadout editor and chat, that will give players the tools they need to get the most out of Call of Duty. We look forward to partnering with the community on developing the roadmap for future features.”

We’ve recently seen a fan-made website that allows players to navigate the Blackout map. As for Call of Duty: Black Ops 4 a new update has just introduced Gun Game which comes after the titles first major update.

You can grab the Call of Duty Companion App for free from the iOS store and Android store. It’s currently available in English but is planned to be localized to other languages soon. Call of Duty: Black Ops 4 is available now on Xbox One, PS4, and PC.
