Call of Duty Black Ops Cold War is out now and it’s already at the top of streams on Twitch. If you haven’t purchased the game so far, you might be convinced to get your hands on it after watching the first 15 minutes of the game at the highest preset.
The first mission is set in Netherlands and you will get to experience an intense gunfight at the rooftops of apartments in Amsterdam. The lighting looks incredibly stunning in the alleys and thanks to the ray-tracing effect, reflections are more realistic than ever. The gunplay still looks as fast as last year’s Modern Warfare, though you will now hold new guns in your hands and that should feel different.
Aside from the Netherlands mission, we get to see the Trabzon Airport mission as well which was previously shown at PlayStation’s September event. However, the video above showcases the outcome of that bloody encounter as well.
According to the first 15 minutes of Call of Duty Black Ops Cold War, your main target is a Russian man named Perseus who has apparently started a big dangerous project after 30 years of silence that could be a threat to the whole world. Officially tasked by president Reagan, Russel Adler, Frank Woods, Jason Hudson, and Alex Mason are in charge to arrest Perseus and destroy his evil project and everyone who is involved in it.
Call of Duty Black Ops Cold War is now available on PS4, PS5, Xbox One, Xbox Series X, Xbox Series S, and PC. The game has some exclusive content and events in the PlayStation versions that will be available across other platforms a year after launch. That said, there’s no exclusivity on the campaign content of the game. It’s worth noting that the next-gen versions of Black Ops Cold War are on sale for $69.99.
