After only being on the market for a week, Treyarch has followed through with their release of the first major patch/update for Call of Duty: Black Ops 4 and it adds a ton of new features…well if you play on PlayStation 4 that is.

With the release of this new update, PlayStation 4 players will now have access to the Black Market, a feature returning from Black Ops 3 (albeit completely different), that allows you to earn new cosmetic items such as calling cards, taunts, sprays, weapon variants, and new skins. Essentially, think Fortnite’s Battle Pass system, but free (as well it should be considering the price difference between the two games). Unfortunately, due to the exclusivity deal between Sony and Activision, Xbox One and PC players won’t get access to the Black Market or any of its content, until next week, on October 26, 2018.

That being said, all platforms have received a slew of other changes, additions, and bug fixes, including the addition of Leaderboards, a “Sprint Cancels Reload” option, spawns points on Militia. If you want to check out the full list of patch notes from Treyarch, click here to visit their Reddit page dedicated to the subject.
