If you think you’re good at Call of Duty: Black Ops 4’s Blackout mode and you think you could hold your own in a tournament, then you’re finally going to get your chance to put your money where your mouth is. Yesterday, Treyarch revealed that it has partnered with BoomTV to host a tournament on the game’s newest map: Alcatraz.
Like most other BoomTV tournaments, anyone can enter the tournament. Just sign up by clicking here and you’ll be good to go. The tournament is set to take place on April 25, 2019, from 2 pm EST to 9 pm EST. Of course, there’s a slew of rules for the tournament, however, the most important rules is that, given the fact that it’s an online tournament, you have to be streaming your game with your teammates. BoomTV will pick your top 5 best games and rank them against everyone else. The top 10 squads in the tournament will be eligible for the prize pool of $40,000.
Players on any platform are allowed to compete.
To celebrate the announcement of the tournament, Treyarch released a short little trailer, showing off gameplay from Alcatraz and explaining the competition at the same time. Of course, you can check it out at the end of the article.
In other Black Ops 4 news, the other day the game received another cool update which added a brand new mode and a new weather map variant Arsenal Sandstorm.
