Around a month ago when Call of Duty: Black Ops 4’s latest update, Operation Grand Heist, was originally revealed, Treyarch also announced that the game would be getting a new Zombies map sometime in the Spring. Now, we finally know that the map Ancient Evil will be arriving next Tuesday, March 26, 2019, and if that wasn’t enough, we also have our first look.
The two teasers, which were posted by Treyarch on their official Twitter page, give us small but detailed glimpses at, what appears to be at least, the map’s opening cinematics. The first video shows a giant door opening with the Chaos crew nearby, while the second video continues that semi-creepy pseudo-ASMR that was originally heard in IX’s opening cinematic and shows off an overhead view of the map itself, at least we think. There wasn’t much context given with these videos, so it’s hard to pin down specifics. Of course, you can watch both of them at the end of the article.
Given the fact that we know next to nothing about Ancient Evil, other than the fact that it takes place in ancient Greece, I’d wager that we’re going to get more details and probably a full trailer for the map, sometime later this week or even early next week. Whichever the case, I doubt you’ll have to wait long to find out more.
Call of Duty: Black Ops 4 is available on PlayStation 4, Xbox One, and Windows PC. If you want to pick up the game on Amazon, you can do so by clicking here.
