Destiny 2 has had a rough couple of months admittedly, but there are forces at work who are attempting to reinvigorate the game’s fanbase through content updates, feature reworks, and constant communication. Today, the Destiny Dev Team released a “Development Roadmap” which details plans for the game for the next few months.

You can check out a thorough infographic below.

Christopher Barrett, the Game Director for Destiny 2, assured players that everything scheduled on the outline will be available to every player. While some of the dates may shift, Barrett reinforced that fans will be notified if they do.

The already released update 1.1.2 revamped Masterworks including armor Masterworks, improved raid rewards, Mercury Challenges in Adventures, and more.

Scheduled for February 27, players will find patch 1.1.3 which is aimed at Strikes and the game’s social systems. Updates include Nightfall high score tracking,  an Emblem/Aura rework, unique Nightfall Strike rewards, and my personal favorite, opt-in Public Text Chat (ala Trade chat) for PC.

Patch 1.1.4 is scheduled for March 27 and promises to update the game’s sandbox and Crucible. Features include 6v6 Iron Banner, a weekly Crucible playlist, repeat protection so that players don’t get the same map too often, and penalties for those that leave the Crucible early.

Season 3 will bring about the Eater of Worlds prestige mode, seasonal rankings for Crucible,  the long-sought-after Private matches, increased vault space, Exotic Masterworks, improvements to the Mods system, and more. That update, patch 1.2.0 is slated for May.

Destiny 2 is available on Xbox One, PS4, and PC. You can check out other recent improvements to the game here, or read DualShockers’ review of the game here.
