Earlier this month, ClockStone Software and Headup Games revealed Bridge Constructor Portal. This came as a surprise to many as the Portal series has been dormant for quite a few years. Today the game launched on PC, iOS, and Android, so the developers released a new gameplay trailer.
As the title clearly suggests, this game blends the traditional Bridge Constructor series gameplay with the wackier puzzle-solving elements of Portal. At the start of each level, players must get a vehicle from one side of the screen to the other by constructing bridges, though this game also has players use portals and deal with other Portal series mechanics when getting the trucks to the end of the stage. The game also features the return of Ellen McLain, who has voiced GLaDOS in previous Portal games.
Bridge Constructor Portal costs $9.99 on Steam; meanwhile, those playing the game on iOS and Android can pick the game up for only $4.99. Headup Games is also running a special promotion where those who purchase Bridge Constructor Portal will automatically get the original Bridge Constructor for free unless the game is already present in the player’s Steam library.
You can watch the new gameplay trailer below. Bridge Constructor Portal is currently available on PC, iOS, and Android, and will come to PS4, Xbox One, and PC sometime in early 2018.
