After years of anticipation, the forthcoming “Igavania” Bloodstained: Ritual of the Night has finally received a new release window during today’s Nintendo Direct.
For starters, a new gameplay trailer for Bloodstained: Ritual of the Night was released and it showed off the throwback style of gameplay that we’ve come to expect from this title. We see the game’s main character Miriam fighting off a variety of different enemies, and some bosses, during this footage. There’s also a brief look at the game’s Inverted Castle, which is clearly meant to be a callback to Castlevania: Symphony of the Night.
Perhaps most importantly though, it was also revealed that Bloodstained is finally slated to arrive at some point this summer. While we still don’t have a specific release date, a release window is good enough for me at the moment. I’ll take whatever I can get.
