This week, Behaviour Interactive, the developers of the survival horror game Dead by Daylight, released a teaser trailer for their new game Deathgarden. If this game is anything like Dead by Daylight, then it’s going to be brutal.
Behaviour Interactive is calling Deathgarden “a brutal asymmetrical shooter, where powerful hunters prey on agile runners, in a spectacular dystopian bloodsport” according to IGN. The game will be a 5v1 multiplayer shooter.
The brief but intense teaser trailer opens to a forest in the middle of a storm. It shows a hooded masked man trapped in some kind of restraints as the camera pulls back to a gun pointing at him. The shooter is revealed as another masked man, but one that is heavily armored. The shooter’s armor displays the logo of the Thrill of the Hunt perk from Dead by Daylight, so that poses the question of whether or not these two games are connected.
Deathgarden will be playable at PAX East next week in Boston, and you can also sign up for PC closed alpha tests at the game’s official website, but no word as when those will start. You can check out the teaser trailer below.
