Balan Company and Square Enix officially launched the free demo for Balan Wonderworld across all platforms today. Along with that, a new gameplay trailer has been shared, showing the game’s various magical worlds that will be available in the free demo and the final product.
In case you don’t know, Balan Company is a new studio inside Square Enix, formed by the former creators of the Sonic the Hedgehog series. Balan Wonderworld is the debut project from this team and is supposed to launch on March 26 for PS4, PS5, Xbox One, Xbox Series X, Xbox Series S, Nintendo Switch, and PC. As you’ve already guessed, Balan Wonderworld is a 3D platforming with some action elements that sends you into various magical worlds where multiple challenges await. Following the adventure of two kids in Balan’s worlds, every one of the twelve destinations features multiple levels and all end with beating a boss fight at the final level. For the fans of 3D Mario titles, Balan Wonderworld will probably be a worthy purchase. Of course, with the free demo available, you can get a better understanding of the game by playing it yourself.
The demo version of Balan Wonderworld allows players to explore the initial levels of three worlds, including “The Man Who Rages Against the Storm”, “The Boy Who Would Be One with the Wind”, and “The Girl and the Kitten.” Additionally, you will be able to spend your time at Isle of Tims, where you can harvest magical droplets, meet with different creatures, and do some fighting.
Balan Wonderworld is now available for pre-order and will cost you $59.99. Currently, the game only has a Standard Edition available for pre-purchase and no post-launch content or expansion has been revealed so far.
