Apex Legends Season 8 Split
Today marked the split for Season 8, but if you’re still not quite sure what that means, don’t worry, I’ve got you covered. The split essentially marks the halfway point between seasons of ranked play. When it happens, the game has several changes.
Perhaps the most easily noticeable change for the Season 8 Split is that the map is no longer King’s Canyon, but Olympus. It will stay that way until the season concludes.
Additionally, there’s a reset in Ranked Points for the split. All players will receive a rank drop of one and a half ranks.
Season 8 Ranked Rewards
Each season of ranked play comes with rewards. Unfortunately, they can’t be claimed until the end of the season as most rewards are dependant on your final rank. The list of rewards for Season 8 is as follows:
- Diamond dive trail (must have over 7,200 rank points)
- Master’s dive trail (must have over 10,000 rank points)
- Predator dive trail (for the top 750 players in ranked play)
- Badge showing your highest total rank
- Gun charm showing your highest total rank
