Despite being a really solid battle royale first-person-shooter, fans of Apex Legends are often noticing bugs and issues with the game.
It seems like every week there’s a new major issue that Respawn Entertainment is looking into to make Apex Legends a more stable game.
Today, many fans are distressed over a wide-spread account reset issue.

Apex Legends Account Reset
Right now, there’s not a lot of information surrounding the Apex account reset issue that players are facing. This afternoon, many players have reported that their player rank and season pass rank have been reduced back down to one.
Those who are reporting the issue have confirmed that they still have all of their characters, skins, and purchases, but have lost all leveling progress and account statistics.
The official EA Help Twitter account (@EAHelp) tweeted this afternoon saying that they’re “digging into reports that account progress is displaying incorrectly.”
Other than the tweet above, there’s been no official word from Respawn about why this issue is occurring or if there are any available fixes.
The wording of the tweet makes it seem like this is simply a display issue and that the player data hasn’t been lost, but at the current time of writing, it isn’t clear.
We’ll most likely hear about a fix or patch within the next several hours, so make sure to check back here for any updates.
