Last week, Warner Bros. Interactive Entertainment and NetherRealm Studios debuted the first gameplay footage for Injustice 2’s upcoming add-on fighters, the Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles. Each of the Turtles looked awesome in action and fans were left waiting to just get their own hands on each character. Now, that is possible.
Starting today, the Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles will be available for download in Injustice 2 for those who have purchased either the Ultimate Edition of the game, the Injustice 2 Ultimate Pack, or the entirety of Fighter Pack #3. Those who only want to buy the Ninja Turtles as standalone DLC will have to wait until next Tuesday, February 20, before being able to pick them up.
To access all four of the Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles–Leonardo, Raphael, Donatello, and Michelangelo– players will have to equip one of the four iconic weapons–swords, bo staff, nunchakus, and sais– to change their character loadout. With these equipped, each character will contain their own unique moves and powers. In tournament and online game modes where loadouts are not available, however, each of Turtle will be able to be selected individually from the character select screen.
The addition of the Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles rounds out Injustice 2’s Fighter Pack #3 alongside previous add-on characters The Atom and Enchantress. As of now, no further DLC characters for Injustice 2 have been announced. Injustice 2 and each of its many add-on characters are available now on Xbox One, PS4, and PC.
