Today, during a stage event at Taipei Game Show in Taiwan, Bandai Namco Entertainment showcased about fifteen minutes of gameplay of the upcoming JRPG/third-person-shooter hybrid Sword Art Online: Fatal Bullet.
First of all, we get to see the customization of the heroine, and some of the features that we can change in game thanks to ArFA-sys AI companion. Then the heroine is sent into the world to fight stuff while wearing a bikini in order to show off the costumes that we’ll be able to change at leisure.
The second video shows a multiplayer mode in which two teams compete in dealing as much damage as possible to a boss. Incidentally, this is the first time that we see LLENN and Pitohui from the Sword Art Online Alternative Gun Gale Online manga in action.
You can check them out below. If you want to see more, you can also watch some gameplay we recently recorded at an event hosted by Bandai Namco alongside quite a few new images, more screenshots, a recent trailer, the opening cutscene, a gallery of screenshots focusing on Kirito Mode and more elements of the title’s gameplay, a previous batch focusing on the ArFA-Sys AI companion, a trailer in Japanese showcasing the multiplayer features, another recent trailer in English, and a gallery of screenshots featuring more members of the cast.
Sword Art Online: Fatal Bullet will launch on February 23rd in both North America and Europe, for PS4, Xbox One, and PC. That’s just two weeks after the Japanese launch date on February 8th, which is very nice.
