Hacking in Warzone has plagued the game since first released, with constant ban waves coming from Raven Software to keep the hacker-demic under control.
However, up until now, Raven has yet to issue any form of ban wave since May 14, when the developers announced that over half a million players have now been banned.

HACKING CLAIMS
Hacking accusations have always been a problem in Call of Duty, but when some of the top streamers and YouTubers are being accused, you know there’s a major problem.
One of the more extreme measures streamer Charlie “MuTeX” Saouma has taken, is to stream Warzone with 5 webcams recording at the same time, in an attempt to prove that he’s not hacking.
The impressive setup records all aspects of MuTeX’s stream, from the gameplay to his controller and even to his monitors, all to prove his innocence.
MuTeX’s stunt went viral, with countless other influencers sharing his elaborate set-up on social media to shed some light on the insane lengths people are going to in order to disprove the hacking allegations.
WILL WARZONE HAVE AN ANTI-CHEAT?
Of course, one of the easiest ways for hacking to be prevented in Warzone is to add a good anti-cheat to limit the number of hackers coming to the game, but is that even possible?
Warzone has been available for well over a year now and thus far, all Raven Software has done to limit the number of hackers is to issue ban waves, which could be a telltale sign that introducing some kind of anti-cheat simply isn’t possible.
The hacking situation has become that extreme, that the hashtag #WarzoneNeedsAntiCheat has been trending on Twitter, with thousands of fans expressing their frustration with Warzone and its hacking problem.
IS HACKING GOING TO RUIN WARZONE’S FUTURE?
It’s clear that unless Raven Software gets on top of the hacking problem quickly, Warzone is in clear danger of becoming a game that players will play less and less.
Obviously, Warzone is backed by the Call of Duty branding, but branding can only sustain a game so much is issues continue to cause problems.
Raven Software is yet to comment on the recent fan outcry regarding the hacking in Warzone, but due to the traction it’s gaining, I wouldn’t be surprised if it updates fans in the very near future.
