Epic Games are always finding new an innovative ways to mix up the season of Fortnite. One way in which Season 7 has done that is by adding the customizable Kymera skin.
In order to unlock all of the customization options, you’ll need to make sure you’re collecting as many Alien Artifacts in Fortnite as possible. Here’s when you can expect new Alien Artifacts to release in Fortnite for Week 3.

Fortnite Chapter 2: Season 7
Season 7 of Fortnite Chapter 2 kicked off on June 8th with a brand new “Invasion” theme. As many players will have noticed by now, there’s a giant UFO hovering above the island as well as smaller ones that players can now control.

One of the newest features to arrive in Season 7 was the new Alien Artifacts, but what exactly do they do?
What Are Alien Artifacts?
Each week, brand new Alien Artifacts arrive on the Battle Royale island. The location of these artifacts are different each week and once you find them, you’ll be able to use them to customize the new Kymera skin.
Kymera is one of the new skins available at the beginning of the Season 7 Battle Pass. This skin is the first in Fortnite to have a large amount of customization options, players are able to change details such as eye color or even the style of his head.
But to do so, you’ll need to collect plenty of Alien Artifacts.
When Will Week 3 Alien Artifacts Arrive?
The arrival of Alien Artifacts and Legendary/Epic Quests in Fortnite have been a bit all over the place since Season 7 began.
However, Fortnite Twitter account, FN_Assist, has pointed out that the exact same scenario occurred last season and was rectified by Week 3.
Week 2 Alien Artifacts arrived on Tuesday, June 15th at around 3PM BST. Should Epic Games be correcting the issue of them going live early, we anticipate that Week 3 Alien Artifacts may release on Thursday, June 24th at 3PM BST.
However, with the release of quests and artifacts being extremely sporadic at the moment, there’s no way to know exactly when Week 3 Alien Artifacts will release in Fortnite.
If the release follows the previous weeks pattern, expect them on Tuesday, June 22nd.
Or, if Epic Games revert back to the previous seasons release schedule, expect them to arrive on Thursday, June 24th.
