Square Enix takes fans on a short dive into the world of Gabe Chen.
In March at the Square Enix Presents showcase, we got our first look at the reveal of Life is Strange: True Colors. In the trailer, fans got a glimpse around where the game would take place that included rolling mountains and picturesque views.
We also got to know a little bit more about the game’s protagonist, Alex Chen, and how their special powers affected them and also the world around them.
This time, however, Square Enix has shown off a short trailer where we find out a little more about Alex’s big brother, Gabe.
Who is Gabe Chen?
The video starts off by introducing viewers to the lovable and happy go lucky Gabe from Life is Strange: True Colors. Finally meeting up at Haven Springs after many years apart due to a problematic childhood, Alex and Gabe have a lot to catch up on.
The video tells us that Gabe’s move to Haven Springs has had a positive impact on his life where he can now enjoy the world around him to the fullest. I mean, just looking at the location of Haven Springs heals me already! It’s stunning.
Fans also get a look at how changing his life around has lead to accumulating many friendships within the towns small but beautiful walls. It seems like Gabe really wants to make up for the lost time he had with his sister, Alex, due partly to him being in jail and her in foster care.
Unfortunately, things start to fall apart and as we know from the previous trailer, Gabe passes away from a so-called accident where we see Alex then use her super powers to uncover the truth.
Life is Strange: True Colors will arrive on September 10th, 2021 for PC, PS4, PS5, Xbox One, Xbox Series X / S, and Stadia. Additionally, fans will get their hands on a Life is Strange: Remastered Collection that will land at some stage this year.
