It is reassuring to know that despite the pandemic, the sequel’s development is going smoothly. Hopefully, Square Enix will reveal new information after the release of Final Fantasy VII Remake Intergrade.
Note that Square Enix stated multiple times in the past the sequel to Final Fantasy VII Remake is in development. However, we don’t know yet how many sequels there will be. Moreover, please keep in mind that Final Fantasy VII Remake Part 2 is a simple placeholder name we’re using. Square Enix did not announce an official title for the sequel yet.
After a very long wait, Final Fantasy VII Remake was finally launched on April 10, 2020, on PS4. Be sure to take a look at our comprehensive review of the title here.
