Outriders is one of the few confirmed titles that will be available on next-gen consoles in Holiday 2020, and the developer People Can Fly has recently shared some new clips to provide a bit more details on the in-game character classes.
Originally revealed during Square Enix’s press conference at E3 2019, Outriders is a brand new IP coming from the developers behind Gears of War: Judgement. As a drop-in/drop-out third-person shooter, Outriders will give you an exciting ride on a brutal planet where you fight with lots of supernaturally-powered enemies as the last but forgotten hope of humanity. Featuring a character creation system, you can make your own hero and step into this sci-fi adventure on the planet of Enoch.
Landing on such a mysterious planet where seems to be new earth for the humans will have its own side-effects, after all. Despite holding some deadly typical weapons, you will have access to several supernatural abilities, allowing you to deal more damage to your enemies without struggling too much. Below, you can check out some of those skills teased by the developer:

Devastator, Pyromancer, and Trickster are three main character classes in Outriders. Playing as Devastator, you will be able to deal maximum damage in close combats and heavy attacks. On the other hand, if you don’t have any intentions to get so close to the enemies, Pyromancer and its long-range flames would be the right choice for you to have better control over the battlefield. The third option, Trickster, would be your top choice if you could use speed and time elements for assassinating the enemies silently.
Outriders is set to be released in Holiday 2020 for PS4, PS5, Xbox One, Xbox Series X, and PC on Epic Games Store. The game is powered by Unreal Engine 4 and despite its special focus on co-op gameplay, allows players to have a fully single-player experience as well.
