Koei Tecmo held the 11th stream for Dead or Alive Xtreme: Venus Vacation on February 25, revealing Venus Vacation exclusive character Tamaki voiced by Saori Ōnishi will be joining Dead or Alive 6 as the newest collab character.

As a reminder, Koei Tecmo previously teased a character from Dead or Alive Xtreme: Venus Vacation would be added to Dead or Alive 6, and how they would be revealed on this stream. Venus Vacation has 8 exclusive characters so far: Misaki (who’s also in Scarlet) Luna, Tamaki, FionaMisaki’s sister Nagisa, Kanna, Monica, and Sayuri.

Many fans on Twitter, myself included, thought it’d be 1014 years old oni girl Kanna joining instead of Tamaki since she can actually fight. Tamaki is definitely one of the most popular new characters among the eight girls though, so her inclusion makes sense. It’ll be interesting to see what kind of fighting style Tamaki uses.

Koei Tecmo is also adding costumes from the Atelier Series including Atelier Ryza, along with various Gust games in Dead or Alive 6.

A collab event with Alice Gear Aegis was also announced during the stream:

The very short teaser trailer for Tamaki in Dead or Alive 6 and the Gust and Atelier Series costumes trailer are included below. Koei Tecmo didn’t announce yet when Tamaki will be added to the game and how much her DLC will be. A longer trailer will be coming later, and this one only served for the reveal.

Dead or Alive 6 is available on PC, PlayStation 4 and Xbox One. You can read our review here. The game also previously added costumes inspired from How Heavy Are the Dumbbells You Lift?, a pretty good educational series you should check out.
