Level-5 renewed the official site for Inazuma Eleven: Heroes Great Road, revealing a new key visual showing multiple characters appearing in the game. However, the official site only mentions Inazuma Eleven: Heroes Great Road is coming in 2020 on PS4, Switch, iOS, and Android. Rather than a “Spring 2020” release like Level-5 previously announced, only a “2020” release is listed.
Japanese studios usually always precise the season for the release estimate when one was previously announced. While no official statement has been made by Level-5 and its CEO Akihiro Hino yet, this is the same as confirming the game is getting delayed again, and won’t be ready for Spring 2020.
The newest game in the soccer RPG series was previously named Inazuma Eleven The Scales of Ares before getting rebranded as Heroes Great Road in September 2019, and that’s when the Spring 2020 release was announced. This game has been delayed multiple times for over two years now and many Japanese fans on Twitter are displeased that they won’t be able to play it in Spring 2020 after all:

In an interview we covered, Akihiro Hino previously spoke about the measures Level-5 is taking to avoid such delays again. Another heavily delayed Level-5 game, Megaton Kyuu Musashi, recently got some gameplay revealed for the very first time.
