If you’re looking forward to the upcoming Microsoft titles Gears Tactics or Ori and the Will of the Wisps then you can prepare for their release right now by pre-installing them on Xbox One and PC. Today, Xbox posted on the official Twitter account for PC Game Pass that Tactics is available to download for the preparation of its release while Ori informed their fans through their own Twitter account. This comes shortly after showing off new trailers for both titles at The Game Awards this past Thursday. Included in the trailers, Microsoft announced the release dates for the games that are set for the coming months.

For Xbox Game Pass subscribers you can install and play both games for free as long as you have your subscription. Those who don’t have Game Pass you are still able to pre-order either title and pre-install it so you do not have to worry about it come launch. Gears Tactics will cost players $59.99 like most AAA titles while Ori and the Will of the Wisps is available for $29.99.
During the Game Awards, Xbox Head Phil Spencer also revealed Project Scarlett for the first time which is now known as the Xbox Series X along with Hellblade II: Senua’s Saga which will be a Series X title similar to Halo Infinite. Gears Tactics will release on April 28, 2020, for Windows and Steam. Ori and the Will of the Wisps debuts on Xbox One, Windows, and Steam March 11, 2020.
