Wow, a Call of Duty game is getting a Battle Royale mode and a Zombies mode? Color me shocked. (sarcasm) In what seems like a neverending cycle of news about Call of Duty: Mobile, leaked footage from the game has confirmed some brand new information, including the inclusion of a Battle Pass, as well as both of the two aforementioned modes later down the line.
The news comes from ChaosxSilencer on Twitter, who leaked a video showing off the game’s beta menu. Here viewers can see the inclusion of a Zombies and Battle Royale option, both of which are greyed out and unplayable in the beta (at least for right now).
In addition, he also shows off the game’s Battle Pass, at least in its current form. In the video, you can see that it’s very similar to Fortnite’s version in that there seems to be both a free and premium section, with different rewards for each (including COD Points in the premium section, which kind of blows my mind). This shouldn’t come as a surprise, especially considering that the game is free-to-play, but it’s still cool to see for sure.
In other Call of Duty: Mobile news, a day or so ago the game’s beta went live in certain regions around the world, although no specific countries have been mentioned. When the beta went live, a brand new trailer was also released, showing off more of the game.
Call of Duty: Mobile is set to go live sometime later this summer and will be available on iOS and Android devices.
