After getting teased for a few days now, Call of Duty: Black Ops 4’s next content season is finally upon us. Operation Spectre Rising adds a ton of new content, including a new specialist, new maps, new maps, and more. To celebrate the occasion, Treyarch released an absolutely badass trailer, showing off everything that’s coming this season.
The trailer itself is from the perspective of Spectre, the fan-favorite Specialist returning (even though Black Ops 4 takes place first) from Call of Duty: Black Ops 3. He makes his way through all of the new multiplayer maps (Masquerade, Artifact, and a remaster of WMD from Black Ops 1) before setting explosives at Hydro Dam in Blackout and flooding the rest of the map. Overall, not only does the trailer give viewers a good look at everything that’ll be coming, but it also adds some story to a relatively story-less game. As always, you can check out the trailer at the end of the article.
Outside of the previously mentioned features, Operation Spectre Rising also adds new weapons, Specialist skins, Blackout characters, and more. The best part is that, except for the three multiplayer maps, all of the content released with the new update is available completely free of charge.
In other Call of Duty news, around a week or so ago, a select number of NFL football players were given the opportunity to try out the yet-to-be-announced 2019 title, which is rumored to be Modern Warfare 4.
Call of Duty: Black Ops 4 is available on PlayStation 4, Xbox One, and Windows PC.
