While it released all the way back in 2004, Lumines has remained a cult classic over the years for its vivid and energetic puzzles. For those that have yet to experience it for themselves, Limited Run Games will have you covered with an upcoming physical release of the puzzle game on the way.
After previously hinting the release, Limited Run Games has announced that Lumines Remastered will be one of the company’s next physical releases for both PS4 and Nintendo Switch.
According to Limited Run Games, pre-orders for the physical release for Lumines will begin on Friday, April 26 at 10am ET and will be open through May 10, giving fans a two-week window to lock in their pre-orders.
In addition to the standard edition of Lumines Remastered, Limited Run will also provide fans of the game with other special goods to grab, including a limited run vinyl printing of the game’s soundtrack that will also be available to pre-order this coming Friday. The vinyls, however, will be limited to 1,000 total copies printed, with the double-LP set running for $34.99.
Two special editions of the release for Lumines Remastered will also be available from Limited Run Games, with the Deluxe Edition featuring both the game and soundtrack for $64.99. Finally, the highest-end edition will be the Ultimate Block Rockin’ Edition, which retails for $139.99 and comes with the game, the soundtrack on vinyl, a signed certificate of authenticity from producer Tetsuya Mizuguchi, and a variety of other special collectibles related to the game.
