Super Dragon Ball Heroes: World Mission, which just came out for Nintendo Switch and PC on April 5th, is getting a free demo of the retail version soon as outlined in a new teaser trailer from Bandai Namco. The demo will let players try out the Story Mode (with the tutorials included), a few missions that are demo specific, and Creation Mode (where you can edit cards).
The trailer itself showcases some of the action from the game, as well as forms and characters from Dragon Ball GT and Super. A new update will also release soon for the title, although no details or released date for that has been revealed at this time. Hopefully it’ll feature some new missions for players already invested in the title.
Super Dragon Ball Heroes is a collectible card strategy game that features over 1,160 cards with 350 different Dragon Ball characters throughout the series’ history.
The story itself is set in a place called Hero Town where a card game based on Dragon Ball is one of the alternate reality’s biggest pastimes. Players control a character named Beat who tries to defend Hero Town from evil doers that have escaped from the game by going into the card game himself and teaming up with classic Dragon Ball characters.
You can read our DualShockers review of the title here to see how we felt about it. If the review — and of course the demo — peaks your interest in the fast-paced card fighter, you can pick up a copy of the title For Nintendo Switch here and for PC here.
