Arc System Works and PQube Games finally announced the release date for Kill La Kill the Game: IF. The game will launch worldwide at the same time but on different platforms:
- On PC via Steam, PlayStation 4 and Nintendo Switch in Japan on July 25.
- On PC via Steam worldwide on July 25.
- On July 26 on PlayStation 4 and Nintendo Switch in Europe.
For now, there’s no word of the Nintendo Switch and PlayStation 4 versions coming to other parts than Europe and Japan.
DLC characters were announced for the game as well: Mako Mankanshoku and Ultimate Double Naked DTR. Both will be available for free and launch a bit later than the game itself. More information will be coming soon. You can find artwork for both characters in the gallery below.
Arc System Works also published a new trailer which explains the game and how popular the original Kill La Kill anime was, the different modes and game systems and the like. One really nice thing is how the trailer was officially translated by PQube so I don’t need to summarize it for once. You can find it below.
New artwork with Ryuko and Satsuki which serves as the game’s box art was published. A Limited Edition was announced in Japan and Europe as well. Some of the artwork is a bit raunchy so you can find the artwork and samples for the Limited Edition in the gallery below.
The Limited Edition is the exact same in Japan and Europe, and will include:
- Mr. Sushio’s main artwork
- Original Artbook
- Original Soundtrack
- Mak-Roquette Squeezie
Please also look forward to the aptly named ‘Fight Club-spec Two-Star Goku Uniform President Mako Mankanshoku’ Keychain! It will be available at selected partners in Europe that we’ll announce later on social media! #KLKIF #KilllaKill #KILLlaKILLGame pic.twitter.com/PDVVP4M8nk

Only 1500 copies of the Limited Edition will be available in Europe. PQube also announced on Twitter that certain retailers in Europe will include a Mako “Fight Club-spec Two-Star Goku Uniform President Mako Mankanshoku’” keychain. That keychain is included in first print copies in the Japanese version.
Kill La Kill – IF will also be getting an English dub, and an English dubbed version of the trailer is coming soon.
