Developer Chucklefish has released a short trailer for their upcoming Advance Wars-inspired strategy title Wargroove. While the trailer doesn’t show anything new in terms of features, we do get a chance to see a brief cutscene as well as various unit types, and more. You can check out the trailer for yourself down below.
Wargroove was recently delayed into the first quarter of 2019. So the wait won’t be too much longer for fans eager to get their hands on a new Advance Wars-style title (because we know Nintendo isn’t giving us one anytime soon). The game was first shown off during a Nintendo indie showcase back in early 2017.
With the game’s recent delay, a whole bunch of awesome new features will be available in Wargroove at launch. Players will not only be able to create their own in-game maps but also build entire campaigns to tackle, ensuring you’ll have plenty of reasons to keep going back to the game. Additionally, the main story mode will now feature cutscenes along with voice acting. Furthermore, cross-play is in the works, and a multitude of different gameplay modes will be available for players to tackle.
Wargroove will launch on Nintendo Switch, Xbox One, PS4, and PC, no official release date has been announced.
