Call of Duty: Black Ops 4’s next major update, titled Operation: Absolute Zero, is all set to arrive tomorrow on PlayStation 4, with Xbox One and PC players getting their hands on next week. Because of this, it appears that Treyarch has decided to do a little housekeeping before the main update goes live tomorrow, as the developer has pushed out a late-night patch on Sony’s console, and it adds a bunch of new stuff.
The patch adds a few miscellaneous features to the game, including a fall overlay to the Blackout map, the addition of the new armor repair system, and the ability to play on Nuketown, Seaside Sunset, and Firing Range Night in a private match. As of the time of this writing, there are no patch notes released right now, but this seems like all that’s been added. We may update this article if there are any other major additions that we haven’t seen.
The patch should be available to download right now on your PS4 and it clocks in at 15GB so you may want to get started on that. It’s currently unknown if we’ll have to update the application again in time for tomorrows update, but I doubt it.
If you want to pick up Call of Duty: Black Ops 4 and get it a couple days after the update goes live, you can order it from Amazon by clicking here.
