The British retailer Game just released about five minutes of gameplay of Super Mario Odyssey.
The video showcases the New Donk City world, and it’s recorded in silky-smooth 60 FPS for your visual pleasure.
The interesting thing is that it shows very well how Mario can interact with many elements of the environment by throwing his hat at everything that moves, and also at a lot of things that don’t move.
We also get to see what happens when our former plumber becomes a little too daring, and plummets to his demise in the most traditional Super Mario way.
You can check out the clip below, and if you want to see even more, you can also watch a couple of recent videos, some snazzy co-op gameplay, a demonstration of the Wooded Kingdom, another video showing more New Donk City and the Sand Kingdom, topped by lots of screenshots, and the trailer from the E3 Spotlight broacast. Of course, you really shouldn’t miss our hands-on preview either.
Super Mario Odyssey will release exclusively for Nintendo Switch in October 2017.
