DMM launched a brand new event in its mobile Muv-Luv game Muv-Luv Alternative: Strike Frontier.

This time around, it’s one of the wackier non-canon ones, and it’s idol-themed, because you can’t be serious and tragic every week, and last week’s event was based on a definitely darker part of the Muv-Luv lore.

First of all, we can get two SSR TSFs simply for grinding the event and as drops from the higher-level missions. To be more specific, a Type-81 Wadatsumi, and a Su-47E Berkut. The caveat is that they’re in “idol” colors, so you may find them a bit gaudy.

Scoring itself is done in a new way. You can “dedicate” your score to one among Kaede Komine, Iyo Daikuuji, and Misaki Takamori, three of the new characters created specifically for Strike Frontier. The more points you attribute to each idol (and you can max the score of all three), the more goodies you get, including copies of the TSF mentioned above and a whopping six SSR tickets. That means six draws in which you get a guaranteed super-super rare pilot or TSF, which is really sweet.

On top of that, we also get a sub-event bound to UN coins that are earned by selling or merging pilots and TSF. For the duration of the event we get double, and there are another three SSR pilots (all with useful skills) that can be acquired with them: Haruko Kashiwaki from the original games, Tarisa Manandal from Muv-Luv Alternative Total Eclipse, and Inghild Bronikowski from Schwarzesmarken.

Finally, the gacha offers the three original characters (Kaede Komine, Iyo Daikuuji, and Misaki Takamori) in idol version.

Muv-Luv Alternative: Strike Frontier is currently available for iOS, Android, and on browsers for PC.
