Today Rare released a new trailer for its upcoming shared-world adventure game Sea of Thieves.
The trailer is narrated by Lead Character Artist Sam Chester and Windows 10 Design Lead Tim Teddins, and it focuses on customization.
We get to see the “carousel” that lets you find out and select the character that most fits your taste and the variety of clothing and accessories available in the game, including the iconic peg legs and hook hands. We also learn of Rare implemented a system to facilitate layering in your outfits.
Of course, ship customization is also a thing in Sea of Thieves, with a range of sails and decorations that can make your ship recognizable from afar, striking fear (or hilarity) in the hearts of the other pirates crossing your T.
You can check it out below. If you want to see more, you can check out the Xbox One S bundle Microsoft prepared for the game, and another video showing diversity among NPCs and the way players can influence the lore of the game.
Sea of Thieves will release for Xbox One and PC on March 20th, 2018. It will be available on the same day on Xbox Game Pass.
