Degica Games and Crypton Future Media announced that Hatsune Miku VR will release for PC-via Steam on March 8.
Hatsune Miku VR stars the famous vocaloid idol, Hatsune Miku, and allows players to play the rhythm game in virtual reality. The game currently has eight songs available to players, listed below:
- Ievan Polkka (by Otomania)
- Singularity (by keisei)
- Amagoi Miseinen (by Wada Takeaki ‘Kurage P’)
- Sharing The World (by BIGHEAD)
- Senbonzakura (by 黒うさP)
Yes, the developers decided to announce the remaining three tracks at a later date.
Additionally, the team released a teaser trailer, allowing fans to get a preview of what they can expect from the upcoming title. Furthermore, a context is being hosted where registerees can win tickets to the USA & Mexico Miku Expo 2018 concerts and other prizes.
Hatsune Miku VR on Steam VR will support HTC Vive and the Oculus Rift headsets at launch. Also, the game will support English, Japanese, Chinese, and more languages for a full worldwide release on the aforementioned release date.
Currently, Hatsune Miku: VR Future Live is available for PlayStation VR, but it’s not clear if the two will share similar songs or features. Hatsune Miku VR on Steam will contain new gameplay features and modes for a unique Miku experience to players.
