So far Compile Heart has been a bit stingy in showing footage of its upcoming JRPG Death End Re;Quest, confining reveals to a few trailers.
Today, finally, they released a video including about thirteen minutes of unedited gameplay, giving us a much better look at what the game actually looks like.
We get to see some exploration, and some basic combat and the game certainly looks better than the usual Compile Heart level, at least in this preliminary look.
You can check it out below, and see for yourself. If you want to see more, you can enjoy a trailer focusing on battle mechanics, another trailer showing more of the battle system, some recent screenshots, the charming opening cutscene, another gameplay trailer, an additional trailer showing more gameplay, a batch of artwork featuring the game’s waifus and their sexy glitch style, a gallery of screenshots showing more characters and mechanics, an older batch of screenshots with the same focus, and even more images.
Death end re;Quest was supposed to release in Japan exclusively for PS4 on March 1st, but we recently heard of a delay to April 12th.
